Description:

Chelsea Park Gardens is a post WWI development of Arts and Crafts style houses inspired by the Garden Suburb movement, with an emphasis on trees, greenery, communal garden areas or cottage-style gardens with informal borders. 

 


The land was formerly part of
the C18th estate of Chelsea
Park, itself once within the estate owned by Sir Thomas More in the C16th.

The project involves the full refurbishment and structural internal alterations to existing four storey residential house including basement. AS Studio took over this project from a basement company following completion of the basement shell construction. 

The works include internal layout alterations and full interior design with minor input from Lawson Robb Interiors.

AS Studio’s responsibilities include the production of full tender and construction drawings packages, assisting the client with selecting a contractor following tender process, site supervision and project administration to include monthly valuations and certification of contractor’s completed works. 

 

Assisting the client with selecting and appointing specialist item subcontractors and professional consultants.

Assisting the client with the selection and sourcing of client supply items at special discount prices available through AS Studio’s wide network of suppliers. These are to include kitchen, sanitary ware, wardrobes, fire places, flooring, crittall doors, AV etc.
