Apartment conversion within one of Berlin’s iconic buildings in Metropol Park.

Metropol Park is one of Berlin’s miniature diplomatic quarters offering Parkside living in Germany’s first city: “Metropol Park”.
 

​

Located in the historic and cultural centre of Berlin it offers some fantastic views of the park whilst providing an elegant retreat from the cosmo¬politan lifestyle of Berlin-Mitte.
The charming combination of history and modernity lends “Metropol Park” its special flair: the main building with its dark-red brick façade from the 1930s being subtly complemented by new-built modern structures.

The period building, having undergone a costly core-and-shell redevelopment, and the modern new scheme both meet the highest living standards.

AS Studio has been appointed for the production of layout and concept design to accord with specific client brief.
Several optional layouts were produced for the client to allow for the selection of the most appropriate one.
 

​

Once a preferable layout was selected, AS Studio developed a complete detailed concept design scheme to include selection of all fixed and free standing furniture, kitchen and all finishing materials.

AS Studio also assisted the client with the furniture/material procurement and co-ordination with the construction company.
